On its O2 CO2 analysers, VIGAZ offers comprehensive features:

How to carry out a gas analysis?
- Stick a foam septum onto your packaging.
- Pierce the needle through your bag.
- Press “P” to draw in a small volume of gas. The pump stops once the measurement is complete. Read the O2 (and CO2) results.
- On the CANAL111, keep pressing “P” to draw in gas.
Pumping time adjustment (except CANAL111)
In the menu, you can set the pumping time up to 20 s. The longer the intake, the more accurate the measurement. The “AUTO” mode draws in gas once or twice for 5 seconds. If your sensor is under measurement conditions, the analyser will draw in only once. If your sensor has not finished reacting the first time, the analyser will draw in a second time to refine the measurement.
Security code (except CANAL111)
In the menu, you can set a 4-digit code to prevent the settings from being changed accidentally. This code will be requested each time you enter the menu.
Calibration of O2/CO2 analysers
You can calibrate the devices yourself. You simply need standard gas bottles.
- O2 analysers: 100% N2 bottle + regulator valve.
- O2/CO2 analysers: 100% N2 bottle + 50 or 100% CO2 bottle + regulator valve.
Quick troubleshooting
- The O2 content does not change: the pump is no longer drawing in gas. The filter or needle are probably clogged; replace them.
- The O2 and CO2 values are wrong: calibrate the device as described above.
